3D geotextile mat is a new type of civil engineering material, which belongs to the reinforcement material in the field of new material technology in the national high-tech product catalog. It is a three-dimensional structure similar to a loofah network mat used for grass planting and soil fixation. The texture is loose and flexible, leaving 90% of the space for filling soil, gravel, and fine stones. The plant roots can pass through it, growing comfortably, neatly, and evenly. The grown grass makes the mat, grass, and soil surfaces firmly bonded together.
1. Before the grass grows, it can protect the surface of the land from wind and rain erosion.
2. It can firmly maintain the uniform distribution of grass seeds on the slope, preventing them from being washed away by wind and rain.
3. Black mesh mats can absorb a large amount of heat energy, increase ground moisture, promote seed germination, and extend the plant growth period.
4. Due to the roughness of the surface, wind and water flow generate countless eddies on the surface of the mesh pad, resulting in energy dissipation and promoting the deposition of its contents in the mesh pad.
5. The composite protective layer formed by the growth of plants can withstand high water levels and high flow velocities (3-4 m/s in two days and 5-6 m/s in 4-5 hours)
6. It can replace permanent slope protection materials such as concrete, asphalt, and block stones, and is used for slope protection on highways, railways, waterways, embankments, and slopes.
7. It can significantly reduce the engineering cost, which is 1/7 of the cost of C15 concrete and dry block stone slope protection, and 1/8 of the cost of mortar block stone.
8. After laying on the surface of sandy land, it can prevent the movement of sand dunes, greatly improve surface roughness, increase surface sediment, change surface physical and chemical properties, and improve local ecological environment.
